FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

On May 25, 2022, Women's Defense Coalition of Delaware accepted Kim Petters' resignation from the Board of Directors and the Corporation as a whole. Stepping down from a leadership role at the Coalition will prevent any conflict of interest as she shifts her focus to new career goals in the political arena. Effective immediately, Ms. Petters no longer represents the Women's Defense Coalition in any capacity.

We thank Ms. Petters for her contributions to the Women's Defense Coalition while in its infancy stages and look forward to the challenges and changes that are to come. With our newly elected President, Deborah Remer, we are excited for what this change in leadership will do for the future of Women's Defense Coalition and its members.

Please stay tuned for greatness!

“Ensuring that all women can live with less fear and more freedom is important to me. Too many times a woman is left defenseless in the face of a threat, but it’s often not realistic to expect that someone else will be able to come to her aid. That’s why I am committed to advocating for a woman’s right to choose how to protect herself and those she loves. We are stronger when we work together, so let’s join together and

lead our state to greatness!”

Deborah Remer, President

Women’s Defense Coalition of Delaware
