Educating the public about Senate Bill 3

Volunteers from the Women’s Defense Coalition of Delaware gathered in New Castle County on Saturday, May 1 to talk with the public and distribute information about proposed Senate Bill 3. We traveled through Representative Districts 3, 4, 13, and 16, all districts with representatives on the House Judiciary Committee who will be deciding whether to vote the bill out of committee to the House floor for a vote. The bill has already passed the Senate. Many had not heard of SB 3 and were eager to learn how they could stand with us against this legislation. The highlight of our day was a delectable lunch at El Maná Restaurant on N. Union Street, a great place for some truly delish Puerto Rican food and some 2A friendlies!
