WDC Members & Home Defense

In March WDC members were able to attain deeply discounted Home Defense Training with Delaware Tactical Firearms Training Group based in Seaford Delaware.

Over 30 women attended this 8 hour course, learning how to safely navigate a public or private space, get to their loved ones and safely stop the threat should they encounter one.

This course included 3 hours in the classroom and 5 hours at the tac-house built on the range. Members were able to ask questions, get answers about the laws and how those laws applied in certain scenarios and leave with a better understanding of self-defense.

Despite what most people picture when envisioning a training like this, the women who came out were grandmothers, teachers, mothers, wives… women who acknowledge evil does exist in the world and who have made the choice to be prepared should they ever face a potentially deadly encounter.

Delaware Tactical offers discounted training to all WDC members with proof of membership.
